New Build Annex Design - Planning Submitted

This design for a Housing Association, seeks to provide semi-independent accommodation for individuals with specific support needs, while maintaining access to care and supervision from the main dwelling. There is a well-documented and ongoing need for accommodation that bridges the gap between fully supported residential care and fully independent living.

The proposed annex directly responds to this need by offering a transitional form of accommodation. This is offered as a replacement for a previous application to extend the existing property with a single storey rear extension.  It will enable residents to develop greater independence in a safe, familiar, and managed setting, while still benefiting from the proximity and oversight of trained staff based in the main dwelling.

The garden / private amenity space to the rear of the property will remain shared and the existing communal parking area will be extended to accommodate 2 additional parking spaces to ensure the provision of sufficient off street parking facilities.
